This Privacy Policy describes how Eyelid Measurements ("the App") handles information when you use our iOS application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of any information processed by the App.

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or measurement data.

Important: All data processing occurs entirely on your device. The App does not have any backend servers, does not create user accounts, and does not send any data over the internet.

Camera and Photo Access

The App requires access to your device's camera and TrueDepth camera to function. Specifically:

Camera Access: Used to capture images for eyelid and eye measurements
TrueDepth Camera: Used for ARKit facial tracking and depth measurements. TrueDepth API is used solely for calculating the pupil distance which is used to then calibrate additional eyelid measurements. Our app does not collect, store, or share any personal face data or biometric identifiers.
Photo Library: Optional access if you choose to save measurement images to your Camera Roll

All camera data is processed in real-time on your device and is not stored unless you explicitly choose to save an image to your Camera Roll.

Data Storage

The App may store the following on your local device only:

Calibration settings and preferences
User interface settings (metric vs. imperial units)
Images saved to your Camera Roll (only if you choose to save them)

All stored data remains on your device and is never transmitted to external servers.

Medical and HIPAA Information

If you use this App to measure or document patient information:

You are solely responsible for securing your device in accordance with HIPAA regulations
You must ensure your device is password-protected and encrypted
You must manage any medical images in compliance with applicable privacy laws
The App developer is not responsible for your HIPAA compliance

Delete Data: Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored preferences
Control Access: Manage camera and photo permissions in iOS Settings
Export Data: Any saved images are in your Camera Roll and can be managed through iOS Photos
